Internet Security Essentials - How to remove

Internet Security Essentials

Internet Security Essentials is a rogue anti-spyware which must be eliminated as soon as possible. This program is good only at infecting computer systems without any permission asked and then making users bombarded with tons of notifications about dangerous malware detected. As always, you should ignore its alerts and remove InternetSecurityEssentials just like you eliminated Smart Internet Protection 2011, Personal Internet Security 2011, Personal Security Sentinel and many other rogues hailing from this family.

Classically, Internet Security Essentials is able to do what it wants because it is closely related to Trojans that install it without any permission asked. This can be also done on your computer as well if you forget to update your anti-malware program. That’s why you should always have ‘licensed’ software, not the trial ones! As soon as machine is infiltrated, Internet Security Essentials starts displaying trustworthy looking but completely misleading pop-ups and scanners that start appearing as soon as you reboot your computer and report dangerous malware. Their viruses reported are simply invented in order to make you scared about your computer and its functionality. Additionally, you will receive suggestions to improve your computer’s security software and install ‘licensed’ version of Internet Security Essentials. It should be mentioned that this version is paid and after paying the money you will only find yourself ripped off. Never pay for Internet Security Essentials and ignore its alerts:

System alert
Internet Security Essentials has detected potentially harmful software in
your system. It is strongly recommended that you register
Internet Security Essentials to remove all found threats immediately.

System warning
No real-time malware, spyware and virus protection was
found. Click here to activate.

Warning! Identity theft attempt detected
Hidden connection IP: 128.154.26.11
Target: Microsoft Corporation keys

Warning
Warning! Virus detected
Threat Detected: Trojan-Spy.HTML.Sunfraud.a

Both the alerts and scanners are fabricated so remove Internet Security Essentials because it useless. Instead of looking for a remedy how you can remove trojans, spyware, viruses or adware reported by Internet Security Essentials, you should get rid of the same program which displays all these reports. While running a full system scan with your anti-spyware, you may also find yourself disabled from launching it, so boot into Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking at first and also kill its processes running. If it still fails, use this registry code published by S!Ri:

U2FD-S2LA-H4KA-UEPB.

UPDATE: If you find yourself disabled from Internet and can’t get online, check your proxy settings. Firstly launch ‘Safe Mode with Networking’, then run Internet Explorer, Click ‘Tools’ -> ‘Internet Options’. Select ‘Connections’ Tab and click to ‘Lan Settings’ button. Uncheck “Use a proxy server for your LAN” box. Click OK to close Lan Settings and Click OK to close Internet Explorer settings.
