But I&#039;d still suggest running an up to date AV scan on the computer afterwards.

I helped a friend manually remove this piece of crap from her computer, but it went down fighting, the system is clean but now most internet programs won&#039;t work.
Only thing She can get to connect is Windows Live Messenger, IE7 and Firefox will say after running a Network Diagnostic
