  1. I use mozilla. Followed the steps you provide. At first it seemed ok and that it was over with that malware. But then everything started to come back. Reset the browser settings. Still strange things happen. Guess there are more issues… Should I use some antivirus? If so, which one of those three is the best?

  2. You should use antivirus.
    There might be several reasons why hijacker comes back. One is you failed to remove the bad pluggin properly and it resets settings. Or there might be a trojan doing so. Antivirus might save lots of time avoiding such problems.
