What is CrisysTec Sentry?

CrisysTec Sentry, also known as CrisysTec Sentry 3.0 (there was no 2.0 or 1.0 though), is a rogue anti-spyware parasite that emerged the Web in late May 2008. Its main routes of infection include Zlob and Vundo trojans, as well as corrupt website that distribute it.

After infection by this parasite, you will receive fake security warnings, which state that your system is damaged by spyware and you need to buy CrisysTec Sentry in order to "repair" the infected system. These warnings will be exaggerated and false, as CrisysTec Sentry has neither any spyware detection nor removal capabilities.
