CommonShare - How to remove

CommonShare

CommonShare is an adware program that floods random computers with tons of advertisements. It was designed by Superweb LLC. The program is installed together with other software without properly disclosing about it. Most of the users have noticed ads by CommonShare after downloading free PDF creators, download managers, video players and similar freeware. If you do not follow the installation steps of such programs carefully, eventually you may agree to download some additional software like CommonShare without even knowing it.

Once your computer is infected, the adware will start displaying various coupons when you browse the Internet. The popups appear out of nowhere promising to save your time and money by providing you the best deals for your purchases online. All of the messages say they are brought by Ads by CommonShare. The promotions shown are targeted to your interests and likes based on your recent search queries to increase the chances that you click on them. Every ad contains a sponsored link, so if you click on it, you will end up visiting some unknown website. The creators of CommonShare get paid for increasing traffic of these pages and improving their page ranking.

Although earning money from affiliate links is very common, CommonShare uses unfair techniques to do that. That is the reason why it is classified as a potentially unwanted program. Besides, once inside the application also tracks your browsing history and search queries in order to improve the relevance of its ads as well as for other marketing purposes. If you have noticed random popups displayed on your Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, you are highly recommended to remove CommonShare as soon as possible.
