CleanUp Antivirus - How to remove

CleanUp Antivirus

CleanUp Antivirus is a totally fake security program which was created only to rip PC users off. Clean Up Antivirus imitates the actions of a normal anti-spyware and includes system scanners, security notifications and alerts to convince victims even more. Keep in mind that these messages announce only invented threats, so they shouldn’t be taken serious. Just like its relative program Security Antivirus, CleanUpAntivirus must be removed from the system as soon as possible and a reputable anti-spyware is recommended for doing that successfully.

In the beginning, CleanUp Antivirus invents some registry entries and randomly named files which drops in the system. This scamware starts scanning the system as soon as computer boots up and labels the same earlier mentioned files as infections. Clean Up Antivirus just like a normal anti-spyware program additionally loads pop-up ads and notifications that announce critical level of PC security. These messages are quite annoying but convincing though, so additionally buying a full version of the malware is suggested for the users. In truth, CleanUp Antivirus seeks to make people concerned about their PCs security and expects to ripp them easily off. Don’t fall into taking its harmless files serious and remove the same CleanUp Antivirus instead.

You may be surprised after seeing Clean Up Antivirus on your computer because it seems to appear from nowhere. For its distribution, badware uses Trojan horses that come through security vulnerabilities found. So, when you remove CleanUp Antivirus make sure you delete all its additional malware as well. You won’t find it on Add/Remove Programs list, so start safe mode with Networking and further delete all its files from the removal guide written below.

  10. For all you guys out there, the guy who supposedly is the real reason behind the clean up antivirus is a business law college professor in Jackson TN by the name of Raymond Christopher Bratschi.

That sucker should be screwed for screwing with peoples computers

  12. I have tried to run the spy doctor software to get this clean up antivirus crap off my computer, but it won’t run and neither will my windows essential security. Somebody please help I need this crap off the computer!!!

  13. i did too install the clean up antivirus for the lifetime which was $90.00. i am having trouble removing this from my computer but the good news is that i was refunded the money today. it took a couple emails and phone calls but i did recieve the money back. maybe this really is a legit company? either way def try to get your money back if your not happy with this service its worth the try 🙂

  14. Do NOT give CleanUp antivirus any money. They infect your computer and then want you to pay them to remove it. The ‘infection’ this program finds IS NOT REAL. As mentioned above, Malwarebytes is wonderful at removing this. You might have to use Safe Mode though. There are other good products out there that can remove this too. If the program you are using isn’t working, try another one. You should be able to find one that works within 1-2 tries. And then there is always HijackThis – but make sure you find instructions on exactly what you need to remove before using this. I work in IT, and Malwarebytes works about 90% of the time. Rarely do we ever have a computer that is so far gone it has to be reformated. (Unforunately, it does happen sometimes – so be safe when surfing the web!)

  15. Hi!
Read your post n did all you have written, still gnot got rid off with this cleanup antivirus. My Eset Nod antivirus, Spydoctor, task manager all have stopped working. Would request you to please help me out with something so that i can just gt rid of this irritating thing.
    Regards.

  16. Rho: Malwarebytes leaves PC unprotected for later infections if free version is used. That is one of the reasons it is used by people that repair PC and less used by people that want protection. As an user, i belong to second category 🙂 Keep paid malwarebytes or any other remover with real-time protection running all the times and you will have much smaller chances to be infected. My own PC was never infected in last 5 years with any rogue, though I browse lots of infected websites on daily basis. That is because I keep NOD32 and spyware doctor running.

  17. i did get back my money though..without charge. just wanted to let you all know this. it took some phone calls and 3 nasty emails but i got it back again with NO CHARGE!! just catch it quick and do it fast! i would def try because i did and now im not out 91.00. if i need to get my computer fixed i can spend the money on that!

  18. I was victim to this scam, and it nearly crashed my system!! I even paid for the thing!! How do I get my money back?

  20. Does any one knows how can I get in touch with the cleanup antivirus owner ? He ripped me off. How could I get my money back?

  21. @adrian
What is the number to the company? I paid for the antivirus and never saw a number to call to get in touch with the owner.

  22. They have your credit card number thats all they wanted… why would they want to publish a telephone number after they have your money. Congrats on learning how to not get ripped off the hard way. Better luck in the future.
