About CinPlus

Even though CinPlus is described as a useful tool that will help you to save both your time and money when shopping online by providing you with various deals, coupons and commercial offers, this is not true. First of all those offers are displayed in an annoying manner of web advertisements, such as in-text, pop-up, pop-under, contextual and banner advertisements. A new tab or window can be opened on your web browser as well. They appear completely randomly, from time to time and interrupt your web browsing this way. Usually you can notice them on e-commerce websites, such as eBay or Amazon.

You will be suggested to purchase some particular goods at a better price rate. Even though those offers can look really appealing, you should not believe that, as it is just a trick to win your attention and make you click on one of those advertisements. That’s the main goal of CinPlus because its creators get paid for every click you make on those ads.

Since it’s completely free for users, CinPlus gets sponsored from other websites for displaying advertisements to users. They generate web traffic and collect sales leads. It’s not a secret that those sponsors often happen to be various cyber criminals, such as hackers and scammers. As you know, they are banned from almost all valid advertising networks so they use adware just like CinPlus to promote their websites. To put it simple – if you have CinPlus installed on your computer, cyber criminals can reach you right on your web browser on a daily basis. That’s why it’s not recommended to keep it installed on your computer or to click on those advertisements displayed by CinPlus. If you do so, you will be immediately redirected to some other websites that might be owned by cyber criminals and this puts you into actual danger of getting infected or even scammed.

The adware works as a browser add-on that can be added to all most popular web browsers, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. Another really unwanted attribute of CinPlus is data collection. In order to make those advertisements look attractive specifically to you, the tool is programmed to collect your personal information such as browsing history, search queries, Top visited sites, your IP and email addresses and adjust advertisements according to the given data. Even though it’s not a dangerous virus that can cause a lot of damage itself, it can lead you to some more sever cyber security problems, therefore it needs to be removed as soon as possible. If you notice advertisements when browsing the Internet with slogans “Ads by CinPlus” or “Brought to you by CinPlus”, “by CinPlus-1.0cV20.12” your computer is definitely infected and you have to take needed actions to get rid of this malware.

Distribution Methods of CinPlus

Usually it is distributed bundled with other free software, such as various media players or PDF generators. For instance, once you download and install a free application from a website with a questionable reputation, there is a chance that CinPlus will be installed alongside without you even being aware of that. To avoid this happening, you should stay away from downloading software from unreliable sources. In case you have no other option, be really careful during the installation of freebie. Do not skip any steps and opt out for a custom or advanced install mode – this will allow you to see all available options. Don’t rush because some of the most important information can be displayed in a really tiny font.
