Since this infection is developed as extension, add-on or browser helper object for Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer browsers, it might be more complicated to remove it compared to regular Windows programs that can be eliminated via control panel.

In case you are using multiple web browsers, and all of them are infected, it is important that you remove the virus from all of them. Otherwise, the infection will come back.

As described by the developers of BlueStack Ads – it is a tool that will allow you to play mobile games and use other mobile apps on your computer, right on a web browser. It sounds attractive, however you should not trust it. While the functionality of this application is highly questionable, it has some side effects that you should know about.

First of all, it will flood your web browsers with ads in all kinds of forms. Ads displayed by BlueStack Ads might come as pop-up, pop-under, in-text, banner or contextual advertisements. New tab or even window with ads on it can be opened at any time as well.

Usually advertisements delivered by this malware appear when you are browsing e-commerce websites, such as eBay or Amazon. You will be offered to purchase some particular goods or services at very appealing price rate. Do not fall for that trick – most of the time those offers are fake. They are just trying to win your attention and make you click on one of those ads this way. And we suggest not to do that.

If it happens so that you click on the advertisement delivered by BlueStack Ads you will be immediately redirected to other websites that might be owned by various cyber criminals, such as hackers or scammers. This way your computer can get infected with other viruses or if you attempt to purchase something there you can even get scammed and lose your hard earned money.

As we have mentioned above, BlueStack Ads can be removed both automatically or manually, so it’s up to you which removal method to choose. However, we suggest to remove the infection manually only if you feel strong about your cyber security knowledge, otherwise some traces of the infection will be left one the system and it will come back.
