It shut down Task Manager, disabled my firewall and anti-spyware software. I had to turn off the computer manually, start in Safe Mode, and then restore the system to the last previous safe point. That worked for me.

Alan: boot using alternate OS scanners ( http://www.2-viruses.com/alternate-os-scanners-introduction ) , scan, reboot. If booting fails again, try doing repair install with windows CD. If not, one would need to replace keyboard driver file (likely cause - rootkit infection)

i also have learned to, first go to task maneger and end the process then do the following steps and run a virus scan by maleware bytes which i did and apparently nothing showed up.. i did this three times along with another spyware removal and still nothing. i had spyware doctor and it did nothing for me so it seems ill have to remove the files manually.

Rick : Do not forget to update Spyware Doctor definitions! These viruses are relatively new and mutate each day.

AV antivirus loaded and immediately disabled the "exe" files for my registry cleaner. My virus program,I have spyware doctor on the system and it is disabled by the av antivirus. I also have a full version on a flash drive. It has disabledthe cd drive and disk drive has been disabled. You have to run the manual method first and if your "exe" will run thenyou can try to use a program to clean the remnants from it.
