How to remove AntiSpywareControl?
What is AntiSpywareControl?
AntiSpywareControl is a rogue anti-spyware program and a clone of countless other parasites of the same type. The principle stays the same as with every rogue scam: the system is infected by using trojans (most typically – Zlob or Vundo) and the user is intimidated by various types of fake threat reports in hopes that he will buy the "licensed version" of the program.
Once inside and active, AntiSpywareControl will flood the user with countless popups and fake system notifications, supposedly to inform him of an infection on the system. This infection is usually non-existent, but that doesn’t matter, since the point of this disinformation is to scare the user so that he would buy the program.
AntiSpywareControl’s homepage looks exactly the same as that of around 10 other rogue scams. Even the content is copied from elsewhere as are the pictures and everything else. There is no contact information present on the website and the domain is registered to someone with the email address "no_name_inc@yahoo.com", which doesn’t sound very credible.
AntiSpywareControl is a scam and should be treated as such: do NOT download or buy it and block AntiSpywareControl.com using your HOSTS file.

AntiSpywareControl is classified as Rogue Anti-Spyware. After infecting a user’s system, it proceeds to scare its victim into buying the “product” by displaying fake security messages, stating that your computer is infected with spyware and only AntiSpywareControl can help you to remove it after you download the trial version. As soon as the victim downloads AntiSpywareControl trial version, it pretends to scan your computer and shows a grossly exaggerated amount of non-existent errors. Then, AntiSpywareControl offers to buy the full version to fix these false errors. If the user agrees, AntiSpywareControl does not only fix the errors, but it also takes the user’s money and may even install additional spyware into the victim’s computer.
Some Rogue Anti-Spyware, such as AntiSpywareControl, may offer users to buy it after the victim clicks on a banner or a pop-up while surfing the internet. Usually, a Trojan is installed to a victim’s computer after clicking on the advertisement. It then proceeds to download or even install AntiSpywareControl, which is another way for Rogue Anti-Spyware to spread itself.
Most of rogue Anti-Spyware, such as AntiSpywareControl, is nearly impossible to remove manually.
