What is Agent.BN?

Agent.BN (also known as Adware.Agent.BN) is classified as adware and also as a downloader. Agent.BN adds a run key to the registry so it is run at startup. It produces pop-up advertisements and modifies the Windows System configuration in order to enable the downloading of other malware on the computer. Agent.BN is alternatively known as Adware.Agent.NAL, AdWare.BHO.NXM, Backdoor.Win32.Delf.cak, AdWar.
Update:
Agent.BN installs a downloader together with its main process that re-downloads the parasite once it is removed. As of the moment, MalwareBytes AntiMalware fixes the problem with the downloader. If Agent.BN re-apears once removed, remove it again and scan your PC for downloader with MB Anti-Malware.

Agent.BN is Adware, which means that it plays, displays, or downloads advertising material to a system after being installed. Agent.BN is known to display numerous annoying pop-ups while running.

    I have spyware doctor installed.
    I am a registered user of this programme.

    It gets rid of adware.agent.bn
    however each time I reboot the
    computer, adware.agent.bn comes
    back.

    How can this adware be removed
    permanently without having to
    scan for it with spyware doctor
    each time I reboot?

    Felix: Probably you are infected with additional downloader trojans/rootkit which reinstall adware.agent.bn each time on boot. Try scanning in safe mode with spyware doctor or superantispyware.

    i’ve got the same problem but when i start computer in safe mode i haven’t got mouse (only keyboard). i haven’t got any idea how can i start scan with spy doctor without mouse??

    i have deleted HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VideoPlugin but after restart it comes back!

    I got rid of Adware Agent BN using spyware doctor and malwarebytes.
    My computer is running faster than ever. Stables tried to get rid
    of it for me since I do not know a lot about computers, but when they
    failed to correct the problem, I went to one of the websites and
    it recommended the malwarebytes and it finished removing the virus.

    I got rid of Adware Agent BN using spyware doctor and malwarebytes
    mal ware. My computer is now running faster than ever. Staples tried to get rid of it for me since I do not know a lot about computers, but when they failed to correct the problem, I went to one of the websites and it recommended the malwarebytes and it finished removing the virus.

    The threat is still there but i wanna know how get my windows running like before cause now the All programs tab is gone and the c: and D: drives too and many features such as task manager and regedit
