Yes, not all antivirus, spyware, malware ect. software suites are going to ensure you a safe journey throughout all of your endevours. I have been using ESET Smart security Suite for the past 4 years and I am no stranger to the pc virus game! I just had to follow this god-sent instructional page to figure out how the hell to get this win 7 Home Security 2012 bullshit off of my fairly newer vaio. I knew that the application was wrong and should not have been on my system, I surely knew I didn’t install it and No way all of the errors it was spitting out would have gotten by, but the big one still did! We cannot be too careful, there are those certain individuals out there who will devote their lives to frustrate an honest person for an hour or two…. Ridiculously idiotic assholes with way too much time on their hands!!

subscribed user of Eset Antivirus/antimalware. Somehow the Win 7 Security 2012 virus got onto my system and I need some help getting it off and then I think the registry fix so my programs open correctly from the executible file rather than Open Program With… Help…

mikee: No antivirus tool is 100%. One has to understand that they will eventually miss something. For such cases there are backups, PC images, alternate scanners, etc.
ESET NOD32 is quite good, and there are few antiviruses I would consider switching to ( personally using ESET Smart Security right now).

our machine at work has eset nod 32 yet win 7 2012 got through now cant open any exe files what a waste of money!!!!

Mayur :there are 2 versions: NOD32 and ESET Smart security. Smart security is internet security suite (I use it myself), NOD32 is antivirus/antimalware only.
