US intelligence hacks Al-Qaeda networks
Several hours after US intelligence operatives hacked vital Al-Qaeda intranet networks, the White House leaked the information FOX News, compromising the entire operation while Al-Qaeda’s networks went offline in an hour after the broadcast.
The Search for International Terrorist Entities Institute that was founded in shortly before the 9/11attacks is a non-profit organization that gathers intelligence on the terrorists’ internet activities. Although they have been able to penetrate as far as Al-Qaeda’s intranet system named ‘Obelisk’, the US government has failed to keep this secret information secret. Now, all SITEI’s work has gone to waste thanks to some FOX-financed corporate lobbyist who saw the video and decided to ‘share’ the top secret data with his/her corporate masters.
Although the government has promised an investigation, it remains clear that the techniques of compromising terrorist networks have gone to waste. With years of work negated, SITEI will now have to start everything from scratch.
