Google steps further to stop malware
Google published a great study regarding to internet security. We do not call the internet a safe place; however some facts given on the study are quite shocking. According to the research, one in 2,222 web pages is used to launch malware.
Some of web sites can be suspected to contain parasites. People that care about their security avoid those websites that distributes illegal music and similar stuff. However online frauds have evolved and became more complicated and also more difficult to recognize. The most horrifying thing is that it can be difficult to avoid computer parasites as most of the malicious websites launches malware automatically. This means you only need to open a web page and the malware installs automatically.
There is other bad news on the study. The most of malware is hosted by third-party servers and it is not related to websites that are used to distribute the infection. Apparently, if you launch a website, someone smart enough can add some malicious code to spread computer parasites. Google suggests a solution to this problem as many people can get in trouble if their websites are compromised. You can ask Google to evaluate your website to check if you help bad guys or not.
Google has also started to flag malicious websites earlier, so even though they appear on search results, people are warned against possible threat.
